- Twice-daily cleaning & feeding: Your pet’s crate and play area are cleaned and sanitized twice daily, and meals are provided according to your instructions.
- On-site veterinary services: If your pet needs to update their vaccines or preventatives, we can administer them at drop-off with no exam fee.
- Cared for by veterinary professionals: Your pet is in the best hands possible with our trained and attentive veterinary medical staff, looking out for changes in health while your pet stays.
What to bring: Please bring any food, treats, and medications with instructions that your pet needs.
*Personal items like beds, bowls, blankets, and toys are not accepted. We only use our own bedding for safety reasons, and do not keep pets personal belongings unless necessary.
Boarding Rates:
- Bloomfield Pointe Veterinary Hospital: $25 per day
- Animal Clinic East: $20 per day
- Food provided: Additional $5 per day if you do not provide your pets food
Vaccine/Preventative Requirements:
- Dogs: Rabies, Lepto, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccines. Heartworm test. Heartworm and flea and tick prevention.
- Cats: Rabies, FVRCP, and Feline Leukemia vaccines. Flea and tick prevention.
*All pets are required to be up to date on necessary vaccinations, heartworm test/prevention, and flea and tick prevention to board at our facilities. This is to ensure the safety of your pets, and others. No exceptions unless approved by a veterinarian in our facility.
We only accept proof of vaccines administered by veterinarians.
Need to update vaccines? We can help the day of your boarding drop-off—your exam fee waived!

When can I drop off and pick up my pet?
For your convenience, both of our locations offer flexible drop-off and pickup times to accommodate your schedule. Simply let our staff know if you need further accommodations
- Drop-off and pickup are available during regular business hours at each facility. We do not currently offer drop offs and pick ups on weekends.
- Please allow a few extra minutes at drop-off to review your pet’s care instructions and confirm any special needs with our team.
Do you accommodate senior pets?
senior pets need vacations too! We understand that senior pets may need a little extra care during their stay. If your older companion is healthy and ready for a bit of adventure, rest assured that we offer cozy bedding and can provide additional comfort measures like more frequent relief walks—just let us know if your pet would benefit from these. Our team is attentive to any special instructions you may have to ensure your pet’s well-being, and we’re always happy to tailor our care to their needs.
How can I book an appointment online?
boarding appointments are currently only scheduled via phone. please call your preferred location during open hours to book your pets stay.
Can my pet be groomed while it boards?
Grooming services like baths, nail trims, and shave downs are available during your pets stay, or prior to pick up. please inform our staff members if you would like your pet extra pampered during their stay.
Is my pets health monitored during boarding?
Our vet team keeps a close eye on every guest during their stay, making sure your pet stays comfortable and happy. Staff are trained to watch for any signs of stress or illness—whether that’s a change in appetite, unusual behavior, or just not acting like themselves. If your pet needs a little extra care or seems under the weather, we’ll keep you in the loop and discuss next steps.
Should your pet become ill during their stay, our priority is prompt care. We can quickly consult with our veterinarians on-site, and if needed, start treatment right away to make sure your loved one gets back to feeling their best. Rest assured, our boarding team won’t hesitate to reach out if any health concerns arise, so you always know what’s happening while you’re apart.
Can I get updates on my pet while it boards?
Curious about how your pet is settling in? we are happy to provide text, email, or phone call updates including photos of your pets stay. you are always welcome to give us a call, or reach out via email or text during business hours. We’re more than happy to share how your pet is doing, so you can rest easy while they’re in our care.
Do you offer other animal boarding?
along with our feline and canine companions, we also offer boarding services for smaller friends such as rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, rats, ferrets and more. Please reach out if you are unsure if we offer boarding for your pet.
