have any Grooming Questions?
How can I prepare my pet for their grooming appointment?
- Help Them Acclimate: If your pet isn’t used to trips out or new environments, consider taking a quick walk or car ride to help them adjust to travel before your appointment day. You can also gradually get them used to being handled by gently touching their paws, ears, and tail during playtime.
- Identify Triggers: Some pets are nervous around loud noises or other animals. Let us know beforehand if your pet is prone to anxiety or is reactive in certain situations—we want to make their visit as comfortable as possible.
- Monitor Health: If your pet has recently been ill, is elderly, or has ongoing medical needs, please mention any concerns when you schedule. The same goes for recent vaccinations or if you notice any irritation, skin issues, or behavioral changes.
How can I prepare my cat for their grooming appointment ?
On the day of the appointment, coaxing your cat into the carrier usually goes much smoother if you use a favorite treat or a little extra patience.
- Place your cat’s carrier in a familiar spot a few days before the appointment so they have time to get comfortable with it.
- If your cat spends time outdoors, be sure to keep them inside the evening prior—this makes finding them much less of a challenge.
How do I book a grooming appointment online?
Grooming appointments are currently only available via phone. Please call us during open hours to schedule an appointment.
What happens during the check-in assessment for my pet?
Before any bath or medical shave, we take time at check-in to assess your pet’s individual needs and overall condition. Each animal is given a gentle, hands-on evaluation of their skin, coat, ears, nails, and teeth. This simple check helps us spot anything needing extra care and ensures we tailor the grooming process for their comfort and safety.
If we notice something concerning, like irritated skin or an ear issue, we’ll make you aware immediately and discuss options before moving forward. Our goal is always a safe, stress-free experience personalized for every pet.
How much does grooming cost?
Service prices are based on the pets size, coat condition, and the time required. exact costs cannot be provided until the pet is seen in-person by one of our veterinary professionals. for an estimate, please call ahead or ask at the time of booking. estimates are always subject to change.
ask about our discounted vaccinations when done at the same time as grooming services.
